School sport provides challenges and adventures, fills vacuums and gives meaning and a sense of purpose to the lives of the children that participates in it. Participation, irrespective of the level at which it occurs, can build self-respect, self-esteem, confidence and enhance the leadership capabilities of learners.

In the time and age we live in, our children are challenged and facing pressure immensely in various aspects of their lives, adding to that their unpresedented exposure to the internet, social media and peer-pressure that has a direct impact on their physical, emotional and mental health.
